When God Places Christian Friends in Our Lives

Seems like over the years no matter where I go or where I have been God has always sent Christian friends in my path that encourage me along life's pilgrimage. People are not much different no matter where you go. We all have our hopes, our dreams, our problems, our insecurities. We all seek love, assurance and acceptance. We all want a true friend who accepts us for who we are. We want to be like and appreciated.

As much as I love to meet new people and travel to new places I found God to be my very, best friend.

He never disappoints me, He accepts me with all my faults, He never will reject me, He supplies me with all I needs and He loves me. God is also, the One who places the people He wants me to be friends with in my life. It is wonderful to know God cares so much to sent Christian friends when we need them.

I thought of how Paul travelled so much and God seem to sent him the right people at the right time to do God's work. Then, there Ruth who met with Boaz and how he helped her during her time of need in the field gathering wheat. Jesus went to see Mary and Martha to visit with them. Jesus also was a friend to the disciples, teaching and showing them the example for living a Christian life.

During the years, I have a Sunday School teacher that taught me alot about God's Word. I had friends that helped me through difficult times and prayed with me. I have had friends that I worked with and helped others come to Christ. There are friends that just there when you need a word of encouragement, a hug, or a word of prayer. I am so thankful God sends us friends, especially Christian friends.

Friends need friends. We need to reach out to touch someone's life and let them know that we care. God gave us relationships to help us grow in unity, to share His love, and to be there for each other. We can never meet the needs of our friends like God can, but we can be the best friend we can to show God living us.

So, today thank someone for being your friend.
